This collection of artworks was born from a year of birding, a great change in my life, a transition from what was, to the unknown and what will be. Birds have always been symbolic of ethereal transition, freedom and ephemeral beauty. The tone of this collection is hopeful and holds much meaning for me as an artist. Having spent many years painting expressively, I felt the need to stretch myself creatively and push into fine art. This collection holds a special space in my creative journey.
